Story

Walnut Creek Islamic Center invites Muslims and Non Muslims, people of all different religious and cultural backgrounds to visit us.

We are inspired by the teachings of the Qur'an to create a faith-based community dedicated to peace, justice, and compassion. We provide religious and social services to a large and diverse Muslim community in the Bay Area. Located in San Francisco, we are able to work with other Muslim and Non Muslim communities dedicated to peace and justice in the Bay Area.

If you live in Walnut Creek or San Francisco Bay Area and you are interested to visit our Masjid, view one of the daily prayer services, attend one of our events, have a project or paper about Islam and Muslims, or just to converse with the many members of the Masjid and the Imam, please request a Masjid Visit. Mission

To serve Allah Almighty and His creation by promoting equality, justice and a peaceful coexistence through education, community service, and outreach programs.

To promote the human values that Islam emphasizes: brotherhood, equality, justice, mercy, compassion, and peace.

To Carry out Islamic activities in pursuance of Islam as a complete way of life, present Islamic principles to interested people (Non Muslims) and carry out social, cultural and other religious activities.

To promote a greater understanding and respect for and among people of all ethnicity, colors, and gender, and to promote friendly relationship between Muslims and Non Muslims.
