Story

ISM offers educational, social and cultural services to the Muslim community according to Islamic teachings and principles. ISM is also actively involved in promoting understanding towards Islam and Islamic teachings to the community at large by participating and sponsoring various interfaith and social activities.

This page offers community updates and helpful information related to community events and about Islam and Muslims in general. Friends are welcome to share pictures and other information helpful to others. Please be respectful in your posts, any offensive remarks will be removed immediately. The posts shared on the page may or may not reflect official position or endorsement on behalf of ISM in general or its board of directors and the Imam.

Mission

- To maintain unity among the area diverse Muslim community rising above the sectarian differences and striving to establish an American Muslim identity.
- To facilitate area Muslims to practice Islam, to grow in their spirituality, deeper and meaningful understanding of Islam and the nature of their relationship with God, with humanity and with His creation /environment.
- To build the bridges of understanding between Michiana Muslims and Michiana non-Muslims and enhance their relationship to promote religious tolerance and acceptance for the good of all.
- To help Michiana Muslims to love God, family, community and their country.
