Such a cozy little restaurant and staff were very welcomed and attentive. We waited quite a bit for the food but let me tell you it was worth the wait! The food was so delicious! And the price was very reasonable. Can’t wait to go back. Also just an FYI when you go up to pay make sure you double check the bill. My boyfriend didn’t realize that gratuity was already included and he tip again until I looked at the receipt and we end up tipping 40% of the bill.

Picture doesn't do justice on how yummy their foods is!!i don't know how its possible but their food gets better and better every time, they are very hospitable too. it's like they are welcoming u in their home when u dine in. Definitely would recommend stopping in and trying out their wonderful menu

Food is top quality high end, service unmatched and ambiance very Caribbean, vibrant and comfortable! Home away from home! By far my favorite place to eat any day of the week, they are open late and everything is made to order!

Trini  food has officially returned to CT!!!!!!  Go now!!!! The food is delicious! The environment is cozy! And just an all-around pleasurable experience!  The wait was a little long due to the weather and staffing. However, the owner, cook, and waitress ALL IN ONE, let us know upfront. She gave us the option to stay letting us know the wait time was unusual, but there will be a slight wait as she is handling things alone. She's extremely friendly, and apologetic, but there was no need!  THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT!!!! FOOD EXCELLENT!!!! She not making microwaved food here folks!!!  Last but not least, her presentation of the food is beautiful!!!  GO VISIT NOW!!!!  Vegetarian options: Fish is on the menu!!!!  Kid-friendliness: The environment is kid-friendly, with no loud noises, no swearing, and nothing to make you think twice.  Parking: Parking to the front of the building  Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, one level.  Dietary restrictions: Food options are customizable.

This place has  set a very high standard for Caribbean food!!!!!! I have never experienced Caribbean food on this level so much thought was put into everything in this restaurant it is very evident. The food is AMAZING the ambience is AMAZING and the staff is so hospitable…. This is a must visit restaurant. I’m definite Gonna be a regular at this restaurant…. Five stars are not enough for this place!!!!!

I went for a lunch meeting, it was a nice lil spot, food was good, will definitely be back to try more. I went back for lunch again, I tried a few other items from the menu, everything was delicious, only issue was service was alil slow so didn't get to pig out had to go back to work. I will be back again...Food: 5/5

Place is beautiful and clean. Food is excellent! Time and staff needs lots of work. Price is very affordable . We got there seat ourselves it took like 20 mins for anyone to acknowledge us when he do came over there his first thing was what you having? no hello how are you sorry for the wait can I get you something to drink! Anyway he took our order took another 15 min to get the drink then the main course came before the appetizer no utensils or napkins the waitress did not speak at all put the food down and left. took another half hour my husband still didn’t get his food while mine sitting on the table so he decided we will take it to go. while paying the lady doing the check out had no clue what she doing.  Would I go back? Yes the food was that good they just need to fix their time and service. Get a waitress who is more friendly a people person Oh! And please get a drink menu  Kid-friendliness: Yes  Parking: Lots of parking  Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Absolutely amazing restaurant!! Wonderful flavors and selection of dishes. Food is cooked to order but not a long wait at all for food this delicious. The restaurant is beautifully appointed and immaculate. Owner is gracious and so friendly. TRY THIS PLACE!! We will definitely be regulars here.

Good food and hospitality! As a fitness I look forward to my weekend meals here.  Unique menu, tasty food with beautiful presentation to match, good vibes and clean atmosphere. I enjoyed the Pholorie, oxtail rolls, curry chicken, buss-up and peanut punch! Amongst the best carribean cuisine in CT. Keep up the great work Island Cho!  Kid-friendliness: My kids love the food! We love, love, love the delicious food, the people that make you feel so welcome and like family and the Caribbean ambiance of Island Cho Caribbean Cuisine!  When we first heard about this treasure in North Haven, we knew we had to check it out only to return time and time again.  Everything is prepared and served with such care and the presentation of the food makes it even more appetizing.  We have yet to find anything on the menu that isn’t delicious.  Parking: The location is convenient to North Haven and the Interstate 91.  There is ample parking.
