This place is a miss or hit, I only tried their takeout option. I ordered the pasta, jerk chicken and chicken soup one day it was good. But this morning I decided to try the callaloo and cod fish and at first it tasted great. But after a while I kept biting into something hard and inedible, the 1st time I thought it was just a mistake but after while I realized 50% of the dish was stem. the stem was scratching the roof of my mouth and I had to keep spiting it out It was so horrible I had to throw it away.
The food was amazing! Chef has his hands on greatness. Delivery of each and every staff were profound and welcoming I would definitely recommend brunching the ambience is very light woooooohooo!!Food: 5/5
One of My favorite lunch spot! Been going there for years. Food is awesome. Very friendly service. Must check out.
Got my food to go, but the chicken soup was so so good. Good flavor and consistency. Need to try the other food next time!Food: 5/5
This restaurant, island fusion has a party room that you can rent out for events. Rent at your own risk. My family rented the location to celebrate our grandmother's 90th birthday on July 23rd 2022. This was actually during the heat wave in New York City. But to our surprise upon arrival the venue and the space had no air, the HVAC was not working. And unfortunately there seemed that there was no sense of urgency on the owner's behalf to get it corrected and fixed nor were we informed in advance when they knew it was not working. And again I state it was for my grandmother's 90th birthday with no air. They also did not provide all of the food that we ordered. When we asked about the missing items we were told they didn't have time to make it because they spent too much time talking to us about the non-working HVAC system. Trying to support small businesses does not always work in one's favor. Also we were told upon arriving that the setup will be completed as far as all of the tables, the tablecloths and chairs. This was not the case The tablecloths were miss match some had stripes some did not they were different colors and it wasn't until we said something that they went out and purchased proper tablecloths especially since one was a sheet and not a tablecloth. The whole experience was just horrible. I provided two stars instead of one because the food that was provided was pretty decent.
Food is good. Customer service superb. They know you by name and a few times after ordering on UberEats they either called to confirm my choices it was different from the usual or write me some great notes to enjoy my day. Definitely gonna miss them when I move.
The bomb-digity beef patties with the freshest amd softess coco bread I've ever had in my life. Super yum yummy. I tried to take a picture but couldn't stop eating it.
Very fine establishment. great place to hold events. Clean and spacious.
Food was pretty okay at first, don’t reheat! It doesn’t taste good at all. Coconut water cost $4 a bottle was going bad cause I guess it was left outside. Overall, I won’t eat from here again unless every other jerk spot is closed. I think I’m being really generous by giving them 3 stars.
This place has great customer service, it is such a pleasant surprise compared to other Caribbean restaurants. The food tho is not my fav at all, I've tried a few different dishes due to proximity and service and so far I only like the chicken soup. Last time I tried the sweet chili chicken and it was just doused in the sweet stuff as opposed to drizzled over. Now, crazily enough when I got home and my son asked for last piece of chicken, I said let me tear it up for him and as absurd as it sounds it was literally a wad a paper towel battered up and fried. I was completely astonished! It was crazy just a rolled up white piece of paper towel probably accidentally fell in batter and fried.
