Beautiful park. The new Timber Town is awesome. Kids of all ages can enjoy it. This park has something for everyone. From a skate park to volley ball nets.

I grew up in Mt. Pleasant and was so excited to be able to take my son to Island Park. So glad I did! They have made renovations, but it still has the same feel it did when I was a kid. My son loved it which made me really happy. It's still the best playground I've been to. I may be biased, but I honestly think it's great for the kids.

Great park, even better since they fixed up timber town. Splash pad and farmer's market are great fun during the summer. Has great access to the river for tubing and canoes.

Large, sprawling park with lots of amenities. A lot of pleasant picnic areas; nice playground equipment; areas for sports. Also the site of My. Pleasany's Thursday Farmer's Market, which is one of the best in the area, with a wide assortment of foods plus food trucks.

I love taking walks around this park all summer. Fun place to bring our children..
