We rented kayaks from Paul at the tours and travel Dept here. The guy really knows his stuff when it comes to the local nature spots. We paddled over to Deer Island this day and it was a blast. The wind made it a little tough on the way out though. But he gave us the option to stay in the bayou or go out to the island. Which ever you're comfortable with. He was a really informative guide too. Can't go wrong with him as your guide...
