I love Islands! We have been coming to this specific location for years anytime we're driving through the area. Islands has Burgers fish sandwiches and some assorted fun comfort food options. It has a surf Tiki Polynesian theme to it and there are TVs here in there for those people who like to see TV. Sometimes the TVs are playing surf shows. The food is excellent the prices are pretty reasonable and it is a sit down and be waited on tight place. This last time when we went the wait staff was absolutely exceptional! They were back refilling our drinks and asking us how we were doing a lot. Someone who I think was the store manager even did a walk-through and confirm that we were having a good time. The Burgers and Fries are spectacular with many many unusual Burger options. The whole feel of islands is family friendly and fun. Oh they do serve alcoholic beverages as well mixed drinks and beer. We don't normally drink here because we're on the road but I'm pretty sure they have lots of fun beverages. I would absolutely encourage anybody to go to Islands!

Always love this place! I wish the chain would invest in some new surfing videos or play some more current competitions from WSL, they're free to watch on YouTube after all... but the food is great and the service is good, and I love the vibe!

Never ending fries...yummy burger...hold about half the onions...good drink options... TV that doesn't dominate the vibe...go during lunch hour specials, excellent pricing.. great location to hit up after spending some time at the beach, just a 30 minute mountain road winding drive to refuel and refresh before heading back to LA...aloha

Service was good, lunch wasn't as busy and parking lot was open. Had lunch around 11:45 AM. Had the Great Wave lunch special, which was great. Fries were good as well.

Food is good. Service is good. Environment is comfortable. Waits are usually pretty short. They have most of the TV's playing extreme sports moments, which is cool. The desserts are pretty good too. Not a bad restaurant.
