When I moved into my large unit - the roof was bowed and looked like it was going to collapse. I was assured by Robert Paul and another person working at iStorage that it would be fixed. I came back 3 times and it was never fixed - each time I asked and was told that it was going to be repaired. We came to move our belongings last month and it was STILL not fixed after 5 months -as we were moving the roof collapsed on us! The sheet rock fell on top of us smacking me and of our movers in head and a nail from the sheet rock ripping our couch. We were furious and pointed this out to the new manager who took pictures (we did as well) but did nothing. I asked how to submit a claim to fix my ripped couch but was told they were not responsible?!!!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?! It was their negligence - they are lucky we were not injured or they would be going to court. I had my own renters insurance but it is ridiculous that I should have to pay for their building collapsing. I would love a response from the owner. And I would love to show you pictures of this fiasco we had to deal with.

My mother and I just moved to the Carson City area, and we had a 16' moving van to unload. We spent nearly the whole day unloading the van, and Robert Paul offered us the best customer service we've ever received. Throughout the day, he regularly checked on us, found help for us to move our larger furniture (even helped us himself), and rented another storage unit to us when we found we needed it last-minute. All the while, he was friendly, welcoming, and informative. This guy deserves 6 stars.

Robert made it quite easy for me to renew on-line and answered my questions whole-heartily regarding past credits earned and accurate amount due to renew.  Very good phone manners and friendly repertoire with customers. He'll should prove to be a worthwhile asset to the company.

 (I found Rick also to have been extremely helpful and personable.  I think his departure will pose a deficit for management in finding a replacement.   He used to go BEYOND the minimum duties of a site manager and was the first positive impression I had of the newly renamed "iStorage" in Carson City office. He'll be sorely missed by many.)
