Story

I am Bob Silverman, owner and President of It's a Fishie Business, Inc. I started It's a Fishie Business 35+ years ago with the intention of helping people enjoy their aquarium without the worry of maintaining it themselves. Through my many years of experience I have set up and serviced aquariums and ponds in homes, offices, restaurants and for television in the San Fernando Valley and throughout Los Angeles, California.
I enjoy meeting with the customer and giving my advice on what would be the appropriate size and proper place to put the aquarium. I also bring samples to match your decor. The aquarium, stand and canopy are custom made. I consider an aquarium as a piece of furniture. You can use them as room dividers, design pieces and wall decorations.
With my professional service, whether it's weekly, semimonthly, or monthly I keep the fish healthy and keep the aquarium in balance so that all you have to do is feed them and enjoy.
I also service and build indoor and outdoor ponds and water features. I have many years of experience in plumbing, lighting, and filtration systems. I strive to make your pond an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
