Over 100 year old oven bakes the best bread around

My friend from Italy loved this bakery too. They let us see close up the huge oven and told us they history of the bakery . The bread is the best and we've gone back repeatedly !

Don't expect pastries or fancy cafe seating.  This is an old-world bakery that makes delicious sandwich-ready bread in the classical tradition. You can see the real Italian bread oven (a giant ceramic grotto apparently brought over from Italy) and a long wooden paddle. A little hard to find, but DEFINITELY worth the exploration. YUM! As of 10/13, the bakery is NOT visible in the street view on Google Maps. Hint - It's on the west side of the railroad tracks! In a house!
