IXL ranch is my home away from home most every weekend. The owners and their family, along with the other boarders, have become like a second family to me. The ranch has beautiful pastures to ride and some challenging ravines for the more adventurous rider, covered and open arenas to warm up or school your horses, a wonderful public seating area at the barn to visit and relax after riding and an air conditioned lounge with TV, sofa and kitchen. Even in the summer heat when I don't ride I feel like a new person after spending a weekend watching the horses in the pasture, enjoying the beautiful sunsets and having a wonderful dinner with good friends. 

We first met the IXL family in 2009 when I was in search of a Paso Fino and to regain my confidence after a bad riding accident. Jesse, who does all the training at the ranch, not only matched me up with a beautiful Paso gelding but worked with me to get past my fears and regain my confidence. He is quite the horseman and has the most kind and patient demeanor both with horses and their riders. My husband didn't ride at that time but within just months of visiting the ranch he decided he wanted a Paso of his own and again Jesse made the perfect match.

We loved the ranch so much that in 2010 we sold our property and moved all our horses to IXL. We currently board 9 horses at the ranch, some pasture only, some pasture with grain twice daily and some full board with stall and daily turnout. All of our horses are so happy and healthy there and I don't have to worry about them because I know there is someone there 24x7 to care for them. Whatever your horse's needs they will be taken care of... Special feed, suplements, medication, trimming... They will do it. 

Anyone looking for a place to board, a nice weekend get-away, or if you have a group looking for a facility I would highly recommend IXL. I know they have hook ups for LQ trailers, a guest house and stalls for overnight stays. If you are in need of help with training (you or your horse!) I can't say enough about how wonderful Jesse is! I went through many clinics and trainers after my accident but nothing worked until we found Jesse. Some people just have the gift and he is one of the lucky ones!!!
