Excellent service, food is superb, and lots of options for drinks. They have everything I love, from yakitori, sushi, sashimi, tempura, noodles, and meat! Everything you like with your drink, they have it. The ambiance is like you're in an Izakaya in Japan and you want to unwind after a long day of work. Highly recommend!
Went to Japanese Tapas & Bar in Las Vegas. They have a happy hour that I believe went from 10pm to close 2am?! We had a lot of different little tapas and beer! There were three of us 2 were guys we ordered everything from fried oysters, tornado shrimp, spicy tuna roll, chicken skewer with plum sauce, asparagus, fried chicken skin, a couple of hand rolled sushi, chicken wings, hamachi kama…and a few more that I can’t remember! Everything was pretty tasty! Our bill came out to about $100 - not bad for all that food and beers. The atmosphere was nice - not too loud. The wait staff was super nice and friendly too! I would go again :
This place was delicious. We tried it for the ramen bar aspect but there was so much more. Everything was delicious. We’ll definitely be back for ramen and noodles and rice and appetizers! Update. We came back for a second time because it was so good. Added more photos and our receipt for prices and what we got. :
Hands down my favorite spot in Vegas, no, the country! My husband and I travel to Vegas often and this is always on our list of places to eat at every time. We found it via google when looking for late night sushi and it was the best little, hidden, unpretentious, strip mall gem we could have ever happened upon! Staff is always welcoming and friendly, wait is never long, prices are reasonable, food is amazing and if you make it in for happy hour 10pm-2am, you get to try even more without breaking the bank! Julie has been our server the last few times and she makes us feel like regulars! She has great recommendations for what to order and has even given us great recommendations for things to do and eat around town. We’ve ordered everything from skewers, to dumplings, to udon and ramen, to maki, hand rolls and beyond! Beer is cold, fish is fresh and the vibe is chill. Can’t wait to go back!
I always come here with friends because they close late @2am! Today we picked up our friend from the airport @12am so this was the perfect place for a late night dinner, but this is also the perfect place after work or other daytime activities. They’re usually busy but since we have a party of 8 today, we called early to reserve. Their prices are really affordable too, with options of udon, skewers, curry, yakisoba, sushi, and etc. So if you're looking for a late night Japanese snack or dinner, this is the right place for you! I always get the Ten Zaru cold Soba or Chicken karaage dinner plate because it comes as a whole meal with rice and side dishes! But I highly recommend the other options as well! Complimentary vanilla or green tea ice cream with Yelp-Check-in! :
This place is great. Reminds me when I lived in Okinawa and the great yakiniku we’d get there. Great variety here with reasonablish prices for today’s economy. Service is very quick, friendly, and efficient. This is my 100% go to when I need a quick Japanese food fix when I’m in the area.Recommended dishesTonkotsu Ramen
It's been awhile since I been here. The food is great and definitely good to have a few people with you. The skewers were flavorful and cooked well. The karaage and fried rice were also tasty. The service is pretty quick even when they are busy.
recently celebrated a friend's birthday here. What I've known so far is that, they lost our reservation, they served the food so late and forgot half of our orders and needed to ask us to wait more, they asked us to leave in a particular time even if some of us are still eating because their food arrived late. The place is gloomy and servers are not communicating well with the guests. Portions are small too and it's just not the kind of experience I was hoping for in a "authentic" japanese restaurant. Wouldn't recommend. But hey, they got Uni. Prices are not reasonable with the portion size. Food is just okay.
Came here for dinner w/ a friend and had a blast here! The kaarage and katsu were crunchy, moist, and succulent. The jalapeño bombers and shishito peppers were sauced appropriately and seasoned well. The agedashi tofu was sweet while being crispy and almost pudding like in texture. The fish and chips was pretty good and had good crunchiness and inner moisture while not being too greasy. The awamori tasted like something between sake and whisky while having the aftertaste and burn of tequila. The prices are very reasonable while the food quality is very high is a rare thing to see these days. Overall this place is awesome and I want to come back very soon.
Had a good izakaya dinner at this place, especially the okonomiyaki, as well as the ochazuke. The queue wasn’t too long and we got a seat easily.
