Adopted a dog from here.  He had been there for 3 months and his ribs were showing.  Doesn't seem like they have enough food for the animals.  My dog gained 5 pounds in a week after we got him. He weighed 70 pounds when we got him he now weighs 86 pounds his breed is 80 to 100 he is the happiest pupp I have ever seen.

Worst shelter I have ever been to. Went to visit a dog on Saturday and was told she was adoptable. Came back the next business day and they waste our time for 2 hours telling us we can adopt it and just have to get our house checked out by animal control. Called animal control and they said they had nothing to do with it so finally after we got back into contact with the shelter they told us she was going to a rescue. Even though she had a family waiting to adopt her. Thanks for the "miscommunication" and the wasted time!!!! Extremely rude staff and poorly ran.

Very unhappy with this shelter.  The staff is very rude and unorganized.  Me and my family  tried to adopt from a shelter rather than go to a  breeder.  Because they were so difficult to work with we adopted a wonderful addition to our family from a different shelter. I love our dog now and so glad we have her.  But very disappointed in our experience @ J.B Ogle.

A couple days ago my boyfriend and I got a cat he's the sweetest! They definitely need donations for Food, toys, litter, and things of that nature.

I'm shocked by the negative reviews on here.  I became a resident of this area 17 years ago.  I've visited this shelter a couple of times during the year, each of those years.  I've volunteered here, I've adopted animals from here, I've taken stray animals there to check for microchips, I've picked up my mom's dog when it got out of the yard, and I've gone just to play with the cats and dogs when I've had free time.  The facility is nice.  The people are amazing!  I can't imagine this is a fun job to have to clean feces and deal with the public, but everyone I've ever met there does it with a smile on their face and appear to have the best interest of animal at heart.  If I had it my way, there would be no need for animal shelters.  But since that isn't the case, I personally think this one is doing the best they can.  I do wish they were set up with AmazonSmile so that I could list them as the beneficiary of my donation account....which is what triggered me googling them today and seeing the negative reviews.
