Horrible experience with this company. First of all, Roger Conley comes up with more excuses than one could ever imagine, but explaining that to you all would take up an extra page on this thread! Problem: had a brand new "top of the line", very expensive HVAC system installed by Roger Conley's team and the AC unit has NOT functioned a full season (warm months of course) without failing. The unit was installed approx. 3 years ago, and EVERY year, since it's installation, there has been an issue. After several attempts with Roger Conley to resolve the issue, we are forced to have another company make the necessary repairs since Mr. Conley's team just can't seem to get it right. This will cost us over $2000! It just doesn't seem fair to be left with an AC unit that doesn't work simply because the company that installed it (J Conley & Sons) is not knowledgeable of the necessary repairs when a part of the system fails during it's warranty period. And to top it off, Roger Conley was NOT willing to help out with the cost of the repair to the system that HE installed, and has ignored requests for copies of communications regarding the resolution of the non-functioning unit. I will NEVER use J Conley & Sons again.

In my opinion, Roger Conley is a dishonest businessman and I would recommend others not use his services.

They really helped me out of a bind when the main drain clogged on my 12 unit apartment building in Upper Darby. Sewage was backing into tubs and even onto the bathroom floor in one apartment. With the slab-on-grade construction of the building, there was no basement and no cleanouts. I first tried myself pulling up a toilet and snaking with a rented sewer machine, but was not able to clear the clog, and it was a messy process inside an occupied unit. By then I had water off for the whole building. I called Conley and Sons - first time using them. They had 2 men over in just over an hour. They determined the front curb vent was damaged and offset making it impossible to run a snake backwards to the building from there. After surveying the situation, they ended up digging a hole where the building drain pipe most likely exited the building, found the pipe, cut in a cleanout on the spot, cleared the major clog, and got me out of big bind. It was a creative solution, and the addition of the cleanout is a permanent improvement. The charge was very fair. I was extremely satisfied with their service.

My family and I have used J Conley & Son's plumbing services many times. They provide great service and work that is done well. They are trustworthy and respectful of our homes, and flexible when working to meet our needs. I recommend them!
