Story

J.E. Hefner Company was organized in 1997 in Blue Springs, Missouri. It was founded on five core values: Integrity, Teamwork, Wisdom, Quality and Safety. We take a basic approach and stand behind our work by applying moral and ethical principles of honesty and trust. We believe the best way to successfully complete a project is by collaborating with each other in order to share knowledge and produce the highest quality result. Through our experience, vision and knowledge, we meet and exceed our clients’ expectations and understand how to make their vision a reality. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and strive to reach a higher standard of excellence with each project. Because we began as a family business, safety has always been of great importance. We are committed to the safety of all team members and continually remain up to date on all safety requirements and certifications.

J.E. Hefner Company is a general contracting company. We are a Kansas City based business doing commercial rebuild and new building work in both Kansas and Missouri. Our work has also covered parts of Nebraska, Iowa and Arkansas. Currently 90% of our work is commercial with a large part of it serving McDonald’s Corporation. We accept all opportunities both commercial and industrial.

Mission

At J.E. Hefner Company, our mission is to perform for our customers the highest level of quality construction services with ethical business practices, and to provide an environment where individual professional growth is the foundation for company growth.

J.E. Hefner Company also believes in supporting local community by sponsoring local baseball and football teams. We also support on a global scale with monthly and annual contributions to Ronald McDonald House, Compassion International and by supporting missions through our home church.
