I purchased my order today and it was awful. The rice was over cooked and "no meat"! Very disappointed considering I was advised to try their Druken Chicken was advised of the Blue Ash location. So I found a location closer and bowl of rice. What little meat was inside not sure it was sausage, along with the bay leaves and hard as rock! Only a few bites and was done.

I’ve visited this location about 6 times within the last 4 years and ever time has been  If I could franchise J. Gumbos in my city I would  that’s how much I’ve enjoyed the food at this location. There’s a black lady who I think runs it. She’s cool and knowledgeable about every meal. My husband and I love this location better than the two others we’ve visited in Cincinnati because the food is seasoned well.

J gumbo was one of my favorites. Haven’t been in 6 month’s though. I just paid $44 for 4 bowls of rice with 4 tablespoons of bumble bee / red hot on top. Even the bread was tiny. I’ll never be back. Times are tough for me too eh.

Went to get dinner and got a fountain drink. The cup was cheap to the point it had a hole in it from barely any puncture/etc. Car ended up covered in coke, and the cup would not stop leaking to the point I had to tilt it to the side slightly to stop the leaking. They need better cups that won't break or be punctured easily.

I’m a foodie person and think  the food is portion good to price , could be a lil more seasoned but that’s by taste… 2nd day back went yesterday got gumbo. Cornbread … So I’m support because I like a little different taste sometimes…  Parking: Good

Got the voodoo and drunken chicken bowl. This was prob better then what I had when I was down in New Orleans. The voodoo was spicy but manageable though to me. The service was great. Friendly employees. Quiet atmosphere. If you haven’t been here, it’s a must!

Rice overcooked and under seasoned. Sooooo dry. Bland and cajun food were never words i thought id use in the same sentence. Poor quality sausage tasted more like a dry hot dog. Over cooked chicken. The shrimp also was..... you guessed it overcooked. If i could give a lower review i would.

Been here twice recently. Staff was helpful, food was good. A little pricey, but I do choose to go back.Food: 5/5

Very friendly place . We were offered samples and everything was delicious . You get your choice of one or two gumbos and it comes with a large piece of bread . Don’t miss this place .

Please don’t go here if this is your first time trying Cajun/creole food. I’m creole and this place is owned by people with no ties to what they’re representing, the food is nowhere near what it should taste like. Go to Cincy seafood
