The parking lot was packed so we were worried about wait time; however, the restaurant is so large there was no wait.

The server was personable and able to joke with us, which is always a good thing. We only had one question and without any hesitation he went in the kitchen to get the correct answer before taking our order.  Good instinct!

My companion had Blackened Chicken Alfredo and a Ceased Salad (served with a warm croissant and drizzled honey butter), it was all very delicious.  No wonder the croissants are available as an appetizer.

I ordered a well-done hamburger w/French Fries. It was very tasty and cooked to perfection. They also have very good buffalo sauce, which I like to spread on my hamburger.

A restaurant for locals, an unexpected treat for travelers.

Went to J Peters Grill & Bar tonight. Our waiter Paul was awesome. He knew what we wanted before we did. The food was amazing and for what we had it was wonderfully priced. I never knew prime rib could taste like that. Being from upstate NY ours never tastes like that. I'm so glad we are buying our new home here tomorrow. We will definitely be making J Peters our number one place to eat.

Mixed salad greens was really iceberg. Asked for no egg due to allergies. Food arrived 30 minutes later w egg. Had to be redone. Not waitress fault, kitchen messed up. It was not a busy night they were half empty. Expected more. Won't be back.

This restaurant is not worth your time.  The district manager on duty this past Thursday was so rude and condescending to us and indicated "the customer is not always right",
Since when is that good service? We spent $76+ on our meal, my granddaughter said she could not eat her hamburger as there was too much pepper. He told us the ONLY thing he could do was make her something else. I would suggest to the owner, that this man get some serious customer service training.
He was very unkind in the presence of my precious 12 year old granddaughter.

Prime rib was excellent.
Mahi was succulent. 
And the loaded mashed potatoes complemented each.

Our server Paul was prompt, polite, and professional.

Overall a great meal at the end of a long drive.  Definitely worth stopping if you're in or around Anderson
