I hate getting haircuts. 
Why? Because stylists will say they know curly hair but they really don't.  But scordato was an amazing experience and on point hair cut. 
Definitely going back!!

All the ladies are super friendly, and they actually know what they're doing when it comes to curly hair. Really nice find!

I went here when I first moved to Tucson and found a stylist on her Instagram (cant remember her name). I asked her to do my hair like one of her Instagram photos (blonde) and it came out looking very purple/grey blonde, which looked nothing like the photo I had shown her (that she herself had done).  Jackie, the owner, tried to correct it a few days later, but it ended up looking brassy.  I should never have agreed to "correct" it (and as "professionals" they should never have recommended it), because pretty much all of my hair fell out because it had been raped by color twice in a row within just a few days. It's been about 2.5 years and my hair is still recovering and growing back in. I made a huge mistake by going to this salon.

I have struggled all my life to get a haircut that fits my unique curls. Everywhere I go stylist assume to know what I want. 
However, at J. Scoodato, Jackie made sure to ask what me I wanted, she payed attention, gave me suggestions and explained in detail what she would recommend for my hair type.  Jackie also gave me styling tips and ideas. this has been the best haircut yet! My curls loved the cut which makes my life easier.  Jackie explained how my hair might react to the cut and told me that because curls were so reactive, If I was not happy with something I could go in the next day and they would fix it for me complimentary. Also, on Fridays they have "Happy Hour Blowouts!" Where has this place been all my life?
