Beautiful park connected to the greater Downtown Concord loop and McCachern Greenway (part of the Carolina Thread Trail). The Greenway is a nice paved and boardwalked path that weaves through trees and over mini bridges - great for walking and running - and the playground at McGee even has a circle sidewalk around it so you can do laps while your kids play if you like. Great place for fitness and families.

Lots of equipment for kids to play on. Most of the play area is on padded surface so falls don't hurt as much. Several places to sit to watch your kids play.
