We called them to come fix our gas furnace that was having issues igniting and staying lit and there was also a water leak coming from the inducer.  The technician came out and looked at the furnace for ~20 minutes and said we need a new furnace, and it is true that the furnace is nearing the end of its lifetime. But the technician did not spend time to diagnose the problem of why the furnace would not stay lit.  After a few calls back and forth they said that the furnace should be replaced because they were worried about liability if they tried to fix it and caused a bigger problem.  I then spent some time looking at the inducer and when I removed the drain line on the inducer about a cup of water came rushing out at me.  Turns out the drain line on the inducer was blocked (hence the leak) and after I cleared the line the heater is working fine.  If you are not in the business of repairs, then don't take the repair calls.  Waste of money!

This company came to our house on 5 separate occasions for 1 issue (boiler). They suggested we hire a chimney sweep to clean our chimney. Which we did and paid for. That didn't work. Then they said the first tech shouldn't have had us do that since the problem wasn't in the chimney... it was something else. They charged us for a new part. Later came back to install the part then left without checking to see if it worked. Then they came back once we complained that it still didn't work and they were unable to diagnose the problem. Our Home Warranty refused to send another company out so we were stuck with them. We paid out of pocket for another company to come to our home and they found the problem and fixed it in 5 minutes. Bad thermostat. 

Now our HVAC is out. Home Warranty will only send JMD to the house. Its June and there is a freon leak in our upstairs HVAC system. Gary with JMD sat on Home Warranty paperwork for a week because he didn't want to wait on hold with our Home Warranty company. So we slept in high 80 degree temps because he didn't want to submit the paper work for processing due to 20 minute wait times. Once it was finally approved and someone was sent back to the house to perform the leak test the 2nd tech still did not have the equipment to perform the test (again). So he said he'd be back tomorrow with the equipment. The following day... I'm told by JMD that he can't send anyone to the house because they are busy. Its been two weeks since they first visited for the HVAC and there is no urgency fix our problem. They told us households with young children or elderly take precedent over houses that don't. We have a 1 year old and a 3 year old. The techs seem sympathetic. But management does not.

DO NOT CALL THEM!  One of their techs. came to my house and I caught him going through my bedroom.  Then he tried to sale me a service that I didn't need and tried to talk me into letting him put in a furnace.  I then called a different company and they showed me that I didn't need a new furnace.  Mine just needed serviced.  I repeat DON"T  Call them.

My heat went out and Jackson Heating provided top rated service. Not only did they explain the issue well, they provided some space heaters until the part was available. Great work - I would use them again.
