While off from work attending a gathering here I dreamed of a beautiful room with dark stained wood and tile floors. it was everything I could have ever wanted, right down to ample seating on hard wooden benches. The acoustics were amazing as even the tiniest of squeaker farts was reverberated throughout the venue. It would have been five stars except for this jackass that called themselves, "Your Honor" and their pal called "City prosecutor". There was an endless parade of hilarity, humor, and smartassery to be enjoyed by all.

I received a speeding ticket driving through Jackson on my way to New Orleans (where I live) and have no plans to go back to Jackson anytime soon.  I call the court house a week later to get the ticket paid and am told they don't accept payment over the phone.  Or online.  And they are having trouble telling me exactly how much the fine is (wasn't on the ticket).  They tell me to mail cash or a check to their address and call them every few weeks to make sure that it was approved.  I've gotten tickets in tiny TX and LA towns that have functional internet payment systems.  This is the state capital of Mississippi and I have to mail them a check and hope it goes through?  Ridiculous.
