I came to Jackson north last night through the ER and was admitted. 

I have so many complaints about this hospital. I think it is deplorable. 

When I was in the emergency room at Jackson north: I think it is so inconsiderate the way some of the nurses and staff speak so loudly having conversations about personal and non work related things. Besides the fact that they are excessively loud, it is unprofessional, I’ve heard conversations ranging from child support, arguments, partying, relationships, to other patients lab results or sicknesses and nurses making impolite comments about patients, all from the staff, both in English and Spanish. I’ve been in several hospitals in the past and I’ve never seen or heard this. I mean they are loud! Not all of them, there are a few that are very comforting and helpful and respect the patients they are treating. They have no courtesy. 

Keith was my nurse in the ER. He is amazing!!! Very helpful quick responsive and comforting, informative. He is one of the few that I am not complaining about, he should be commended for exceptional care of his patients. 

Once admitted the room was not ready. 
The nurses never check in on you. 
They are not doing a good job of managing my pain. 

I have not eaten since yesterday only to be told now that the doctor placed me on NPO after midnight tonight and when I asked for some crackers or something now at 9:15pm was told no. 

In addition to that I asked the nurse to contact an oncall doctor because the pain medication is not working. And she said No. 

this may be taken lightly but I hope this is taken serious and addressed with staff. 

Patients here are obviously not well and should be made to feel as comfortable as possible. 

The ac in the room is broken I am sweating. 

Please use this as constructive criticism so that you can provide better care and service to your patients and teach the staff.

I agree with everyone saying that this place needs to be shut down. They don't care about their patients. Went to the ER this week, had a CT scan done, although it mentioned a sinus disease in the report I was not made aware until I read it online. I returned to the ER to make it known and wanted to know why I was not told so, especially since I told the DR. All my symptoms literally everything. Yet I was told by 2nurses in the ER that based on the Dr's and their opinion I do not need further assistance with it and that I shouldn't be believe everything I see on google; what about my S/S???????? And if I wanted it to be followed I would have  to re register in the ER. Shame shame shame. Please reevaluate your crew or shut the place down. Take care of your patients, especially when we are paying you to do your job.  I'm a nurse myself and it irks to see people being ignored.

This hospital is horrible, they make you wait for hours to be serviced. I once waited 10hrs to be seen by a doctor. They need to either close down of move faster with parents. The staff is also very lazy

This place needs to be closed, I have visited this emergency room several times and have had a negative experience each time. Today I took my wife for an emergency pelvic pain and waited more than three hours without being helped. Finally decided to leave the facility and find an ER somewhere else. You better drive 40 more miles to find another hospital instead of waiting 4 hours to be helped by the lazy  and unprofessional Jackson North staff. This really needs to be shutdown.

I love the Jackson Health system. This hospital maintains the Jackson standard and is always living up to expectation. The care I recieved here was beyond amazing: from the minute I walked in till my diacharge, all my needs were met with smiles and thank you's. 

Thank you to all the nurses, techs, doctors and all the other staff in the ER. They work as one to care for their patients.

I will always come back to Jackson!
