I needed 3 fillings done. First, the dentist didn't wait long enough for the topical numbing to take effect. So, when he administered the novacane shots, it was way more painful than it would've been had he waited longer. Second, they didn't rinse and suction often enough. I found myself actually having to get up and spit in the sink over and over again. Yet they never did take the hint. Third, they completely messed up two fillings to the effect that I was unable to floss between two teeth and my bite was way off (one side higher than the other). So, I had to return the next day for them to fix their mistakes. The dentist seemed irritated when I voiced my dissatisfaction. He actually disagreed with me until he tried flossing between the two aforementioned teeth and failed. He then proceeded to repair the bad fillings, but I was given nothing for pain and the dentist was very rough with my gums, which actually began to bleed during the process. I never once heard an apology. I will never come back here and I advise others to take their business elsewhere.

Dr. Kalhorn and his staff are really friendly and show lots care and concern. I've been here twice and have recommended them to my family and friends.

I was saddened to hear that Dr Paul Rygg has retired from dentistry, he was my family dentist for 7 years. But to my surprise I was misinformed, he has not retired!!! Happy to say that I found him at his new office, Perfect Teeth Woodmen office.

I recently visited the office for an emergency with my gums. All I needed was a referral, really. They knew that I was employed and insured. The office visit was over $60. I asked if I could be billed for four days until my payday. They denied my request. I told them that I would seek another dentist. This proves that they do not care about helping. They only want the money. Never have I heard of a dentist denying someone in terrible pain, and especially when their gums are receding daily, of medical treatment.

Christina was my hygienist and she's awesome!  I have sensitivity issues, and nearly every other hygienist I've seen in my life, this always has seemed to be an inconvenience, but not with Christina.  She's got a great personality, is very careful and caring, and no longer is a visit to the dentist for a cleaning dreadful.  Thank you Christina and thank you Jade Dental for finding her.  She's an asset to your practice!
