Very good food. One thing that I wouldn't do is bring kids there. Though the atmosphere is really nice, I recommend it to be a better place for 2 people. Great Cream cheese Puffs BTW!

They have the most popular and delicious chow mein. They make the best sezchuan rice noodles. They also have had the same great owners, husband and wife, since the beginning. Delicious everything! It's my favorite for traditional take out!

Best chinese food around.  Does a lot of take out business.  The restaurant itself is small but okay because you can usually find a place to sit.  Most of this business is take-out.

Used to go here a LOT back in the 90s.   Guess what?    STILL the best carryout in town and beyond!!   Period!

Excellent food and service. Note: Jade House is temporarily closed for in-house dining and delivery due to unforeseen family circumstances (through the first week of November, 2015 - tentatively), but you can still get take out.
If you're interested in what's "the best" from what we've tried, the fried rice is good but can always use a splash of soy sauce, the beef and broccoli has just the right kick to it; they've got a solidly good lemon sauce for the lemon chicken, and the chicken lo mein is very tasty with its thin rice noodles instead of thick overly gummy ones like at some other places. The cream cheese puffs are not the sweetened kind (hallelujah), and the accompanying sweet and sour sauce is well balanced, not too thick, with a bit of a spice note to it (Chinese five spice seasoning?). This restaurant has been around for over 20 years, and has a good name for a reason. Highly recommended.
