I had the chicken tenders with sweet potato fries. They were served warm, and a bit burnt. Also tasted like the chicken was fried in the same oil as fish. Service was good though. Atmosphere is good as well. Food is rated as "could be better".

Jake and Joe's on the upper west end of Waltham is a great restaurant wonderful staff great management boy that Michael Boucher , he knows how to run a place, the restaurant is spotless and clean the staff friendly service is fabulous. That manager works together with his staff to keep that place just as fabulous as it is I hope Jake and Joe's know what they have in him. The food is great always served hot and on time and if there are any problems, staff takes care of it right away. I have to say this Jake and Joe's is tops from ones I've been to visit . I've been to another one in Norwood they're pretty tops as well. Great job to the manager

Waitress was attentive enough and very nice. We asked for new rolls for our burgers since they were soggy with grease from our fries (not burger blood, I would been OK with that). They took it upon themselves to reheat our burgers too. They came back out to the table so overdone it was inedible, and missing half the toppings (mine no longer had cheese on it). I don't send food back more than once since I worked in a kitchen for 15 years, so we left still hungry. Seems like the food would have been good if ours wasn't prepared so poorly.

The service was quick, and the waitress made no errors in our party of about fifteen. Everything that we ordered was good, save for the assorted wing tower, which were all oddly very dry and left a bitter after taste.

Went here for the first time today. Standard sports bar/restaurant. Seemed clean and organized. Our waitress was OK, seemed a little bored. She waited until we were just about done with our meals to ask if I wanted another drink, then she whisked my half-full plate away from the table without asking if I wanted to pack it to go. So I paid full price for half a meal.
