Called in for a few Sunday evening cocktails with my son. Bar was quiet, but the atmosphere was welcoming. The bar staff were friendly and the cocktails were innovative and well prepared.

Waiting 20 minutes to get in then to be presented with what is clearly an over capacity bar is simply ridiculous. Unless you a 18 year old female that likes throwing herself at the bar staff, you absolutely no chance to get served. Sleazy bar staff avoid this place at all costs!

I had a fabulous time this weekend, I was served by daisy who was so gracious, funny and kind- what lovely staff! I will definitely be coming back asap!

Absolute hidden gem, was empty on a Saturday when I visited but the staff were lovely and the drinks were top notch

What a fantastic place! Number 24 in the list of Top 50 cocktail bars in the UK. It's very rare to find a cocktail bar like this where you get amazing cocktails, great party vibes and fantastic bartenders at the same time! Big shoutout to Jax who really knows how to entertain and mix excellent drinks!

Love the updated decor.  The vibe here is great it's downstairs in a basement, and it feels a little like a hidden speakeasy.  I ordered a cocktail, Caipirinha, they are usually the best place to get these , unfortunately tonight they had no brown sugar just sugar syrup , so it was disappointing.  There is seating all around the edge plenty of place to stand it dance if you wish.  Toilets are clean, and not miles away and had toilet roll always a plus!!

I'm sure once you are inside this establishment you can have a jolly good time. However, the 'door security' seem hell-bent on not allowing you over the threshold. " It's too busy inside; you've had enough to drink; you're in too big a group" are common reasons. All in all, the door staff need to acquire some manners, though i won't hold my god forsaken breath. Don't waste your time.

Again the same as previous reviews, no problems with any door staff until here. You keep receiving reviews about this yet nothing had been done. Had no alcohol but refused to tell me why  60 people were allowed in ‘even though it was full’ but  not myself who was stood there patiently for over a hour.  every bad comment is about the bouncers, you’d think you’d do something about it. Real shame. Ruined works due. Thankyou.

Doorman refused us entry because we were seen with a girl who was denied entry into another bar an hour ago. When we asked why they wouldn't let us in were told we had threatened his mate. Not true. Then the doorman accused us of being "off our face on drugs" , again, not true. A very aggressive man, given a pinch of power and it's gone to his head. As someone who works in a bar and knows security guards this was baffling, won't be visiting again and I hope this inspires others not to.

Great cocktails, great staff, great atmosphere. Also great decor.
