Hits: 1. Fresh coffee is always hot and ready. Sometimes they even have honey available for a sweetener. 2. A good choice of somewhat local beer and a good choice of wines for a store this size. Misses: $1.50 for air? Really? Maplefields has NO CHARGE for air. Air should be free. Jake's air machine (now that they finally replaced the broken one after a full year) only accepts quarters. Who's got 6 quarters late at night when the store is closed? I never do. This is anti-convenience. Small things like this really leave one wondering what Jake's business model is. Jake's in Georges Mills is in a prime location for major expansion and a multi-million dollar facility. They need to buy the house next to the store, tear it down, expand parking and expand store offerings to include things like marinated beef and chicken for home grilling. Instead, they remain small and choose to nickel and dime people who need to blow up their tires. Route 11 traffic is 8000 vehicles a day. Jake's is not seeing their true potential and is thinking too small. Jake's is old school. This store is stuck in 1985 and we all have less than what we could have because of it.

Awesome deli sandwiches! Totally impressive and fast. The white bread is thick and fresh. Very delicious coffee too. Staff was happy and friendly when I was there. I will definitely got back for a quick lunch!

I like the new look everything is nice and clean. The foods not bad. The staff never smile and even the boss is always grumpy. He looks like he's in hell. No one wants to shop at a store like that. Half the time I drive out of my way to another gass station so they don't rub off on me. Don't get me wrong there is two nice girls there. Not the very fat short one with black hair. The tall one with pink hair or blue and the little one with black hair. They are friendly. But everyone else needs a vacation.
