A diner with many options. Got a skillet dish with spinach and canadian bacon - a big serving, nicely plated; with large fluffy pancakes which I ate with their jams. My son liked his crab benedict with hash potatoes; and my cousin's avocado platter with chicken salad was the wow. Food came out fast but getting our server's attention after that took time.
One Of My favorite Gluten-free places to go! They have Gluten-free bread and pancakes and eggs Benedict!!! Highly recommend for great, fresh food....great service! Just wish they were open longer Food: 5/5
The cream of rice soup was hearty. My eggs needs salt, I suppose I'm used to saltiing my eggs before cooking them. Over all the service was prompt they were courteous and attentive. The food was decent the fruit was fresh. The bathroom was clean.Food: 4/5

This place is kind of hard to spot as you are driving by, but if you're in the the area give them try. The layout is a little strange, it's set up like an a "U" shape and the parking spots near the restaurant are very limited. They do have additional parking North of them on the strip mall, you just have to walk a little more. The staff is very friendly, accomadating and on top of everything. The food is hit or miss, some things are very good while others are not. To be fair, the staff does a good job making sure that you're satisfied with your meal and they will go above beyond to make sure you're fully satisfied with your meal. The establishment is kept clean and the ambiance is very laid back. Even if their very busy, you don't feel rushed.
The service was horrible, the waitress almost seemed bothered by having to take a table. She didn’t introduce herself, she wrote nothing down then came back multiple times to ask what we asked for. The. It still came out wrong, I only saw her once the whole time, she never came back to check in. Oh, I did see her counting her tips a few tables over. We never got silverware, their glassware is atrocious, I added pictures to show how unclean these looked. Food was solid, atmosphere was horrible. I would not come back with so many other options in the area.
Definitely a great spot for breakfast. The staff is always courteous and friendly !!! Pt2 review : When I’m in Darien this is my go to breakfast spot . My wife and I went there again this morning , I got the pancake combonot that many combos on the menu in addition to two pancakes ,it came with 2 eggs 2 strips of bacon and 2 sausages. I almost forgot about the small glass of orange juice . Everything was good , despite the restaurant having a typical Saturday morning crowd ....we were seated in about 5 minutes. I’ve enclosed a few pics below..... Another 5thumbs up spot
Love the food! The waffles are super cute! Had to remind the server that I wanted coffee twice after telling her multiple times while she served other people at my table. Definitely will come back though. The prices are a bit high but affordable. Reminds me of egg Harbor
The food was excellent. Atmosphere started off fine until 10 AM when club techno music was blasting so loud I couldn't hear the person next to me. The server was horrendous. She didn't introduce herself, ask how we were doing and never bothered to stop by to ask if we needed a refill. The host who seemed to be the owner was very nice but that's where the pleasant service stopped. Won't be back.
Downers Grove best little kept secret! I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Did a Google search to try something new. Fast seating, hot food, server Denise was a little slow but very friendly. On a disappointing note, restaurants need to offer more sugar free options other than sugar free syrup. No available sugar free jellies.
