I went into a dark, cool, fun place! My friend and I got there about 5:45 on a Friday,  only a couple of people there, and the owner asked what we'd like to have. I was enjoying the atmosphere while he filled the order. I was surprised how much food was in the container! It was oxtail, rice and beans, and cooked cabbage plus cornbread.  I really enjoyed it! The Jamaican pineapple drink was the perfect complement.

This guy is really good and knows what he is doing in the kitchen!! The food is great and his service to customers is outstanding! He has a great attitude and you can tell he enjoys what he does. I recommend everyone in the city of DELAND to go and try this place if you have not already!!Food: 5/5

Loved this place and I'll definitely be coming back to eat many more times. We got the curry goat and ox tail with a couple of beef cakes. It lasted us through several meals.Food: 5/5

All I can say is get there as early as you can before all the food is gone. We arrived there on a Wednesday night @6pm since they closed at 8pm but unfortunately what was left was a little bit of oxtails and curry goat. Since my taste buds was wanting some authentic cuisine we decided to get what was left so we went with the oxtails, cabbage, cornbread and a little rice.  The food was good just wish we had more of it. The owner was very nice and offered us a little discount for the lack of food and choices which we really appreciate.  That shows me they sell out fast and that they offer fresh cooked food and not something they warm up from the previous day.  When we're in the area we will return. Keep doing what you're doing.

The cornbread and cabbage weren’t bad. However, the jerk chicken was super fatty and was hard to find meat to consume. The rice and sauce on the chicken has little to no flavor despite the spice.

This place was the best jerk chicken I’ve ever had! Super delicious, and not too spicy. Owner was super friendly
