I just moved to Jeff not to long ago and need some where to put all the cardboard I had. This bar has the only dumpster with in walking distance from my house. The dumpster wasn't full but I asked could I use it anyway. The owner was rude and said it was full when it wasn't. Won't be spending my money there anytime soon. They don't seem like they get many black customers anyway. If this is how people act in Jeff im moving back to Houston TX.

6 MONTH UPDATE!!! Went back to Jameys for a nice Sunday Funday and met the best Bartender that I've seen for awhile named Charla... We listened to the Jukebox as loud as sleeping wanted, had wonderful drinks made perfectly... Thanks for making me a big Jameys fan again... SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!!! Um well all I can say is I have been going to Jamey's for years before Jamey sold it, and, the atmosphere is very militant for a bar if you ask me. If you serve alcohol, then people are going to act drunk, and, throwing them out after they spend $100 of there money in your bar every week is a bit unreasonable. I bartended in the Florida Keys for years and I certainly wouldn't have a boring bar the locals are what it's all about. It's not Mels, (which I love by the way) lighten up and have fun and let people you are serving alcohol to, act like they have been served a good drink if there not hurting anyone of course. And that doesn't mean obnoxious, drunks are obnoxious by Nature, deal with it. Looks like a lot of people are going everywhere or staying home.

If you ride bike that's the best place to go laid-back except for certain days then you got the up he's coming in and starting to change but you know what I still go there every now and then only drink two beers at a time the police you're starting to surround the place more often now it's not like it used to be what's still great place

Small bar with a friendly atmosphere. Good drinks at a good price as well.

It's a friendly inviting place filled with regulars . Lots of sweet bikes to look at throughout the day. 90% older crowd so no trouble or fights here either.
