Reasons I prefer this over Panera- No self clean up. Free ice cream. Larger portions for the same price point. Salad bar- which is exceptional! My favorite in town. Staff comes by to check on you Everything I’ve ordered here is so delicious, I sometimes crave it. Especially the salad bar. They have options here if you are REALLY hungry, or if you want a light meal. The potato salad is amazing. I will say Panera has better broc and cheese soup.

Staff is always courteous and friendly. It's a very comfortable and casual atmosphere. Food is good, but not exceptional. Edit: Return trip a year later: the "clean" tables are very sticky and gross. And they are very slow with busing tables. Dirty dishes all over the place.

There weren't eggs at the salad bar, and overall it was quite pricy. Still, there were quite a few food options and the salad bar was otherwise well stocked.

I have been here a hour and the manager, Vince, hasn't washed his hands a single time. Here is a list of things he has touched: the buffet tongs, salad mix, bathroom door, cash register, a bunch of dirty dishes, the dirty dish cart, the drink area, clean silverware, his own personal drinking cup which he left on the back table, clean plates, to go items, and the list goes on. They are understaffed by probably two which is okay because the staff is extremely friendly and working very hard. The manager has done everything possible to avoid jumping in and helping on the line. He hasn't wiped down the buffet and there are still at least 8 dirty tables. He has taken one or two to go orders, but he is basically just walking around. I work in food service and they have been busy I get it, but you have to wash your hands. I love Jason's Deli and this is the only one in town I will not be back, because not washing your hands is just disgusting. Kudos to the line staff for hanging in there and keeping the smiles going. Unfortunately their manager is practicing pretty bad habits. In the 15 minutes it took me to write this he still hadn't washed his hands and a dishwasher came out of the back dug in his ear and then put away clean dishes.

Always go there when visiting our daughter and grandson. Free ice cream cone with order a plus.
