The only perk I have of working occasionally in this area is the breakfast at Jax's.  Its never a let down and is clearly popular with locals as well.  Everything is reasonably priced and yes even though it's a gas station DO NOT BE DECEIVED!  Stop in the morning and grab you a breakfast plate, or a pork tenderloin sandwich (I prefer mine with cheese and tomato) and you won't have a better start to your day.  Unfortunately, I haven't experienced anything other than breakfast from there but that's enough to justify everything else.  Service is always kind, respectful, quick and nothing short of a little southern hospitality.
