I walked in the door by the old customer service desk for a catalog pick up. There was a sign saying the register was closed. So I start to walk into the store kind of looking around and a customer on their way out told me I need to find a register because that's what she had to do. 

I noticed a big customer service sign above the shoe department so I head that way. At the shoe department there was another sign saying the register was closed. 
So at this point I am disgusted and shout "Does anybody work here." There was no answer. 

I head to the center of the store to find four people around the register at the center. This was at 5:20 PM and they said they were all there because they just had a line. 

I ask about my catalog pickup. They promptly took care of me. 

On the way out I talked to one of the managers. I strongly suggested that they have a cashier by each door that they still have open or at least within sight of the doors. 

I am the second customer in a matter of minutes that had to find help. I like shopping locally but I also consider customer service very important.

I worked for years for you at this store as L. P. Manager. I love this store and will as long as I am alive. God, how I wish I could come home. But no place for me.Fact is I would love this place even if I never worked here...
