I was looking for a forensic accountant to prepare financial reports for my divorce and found Jeff Porter's office after 3 calls to other firms. After speaking with one of his courteous staff members (Aaron), I was told Jeff would call me back as soon as he was off another call. Within 20 minutes he returned tha call and spent well over the normal free consultation time educating me on all of my options. His expertise and candor could easily have hooked me into paying him whatever he asked for in compensation, but he was empathetic to my limited resources and situation and advised me to take a simpler, less expensive route that would have a better impact in court. I'm sure most folks in similar situations would agree, this is a rare occurrence in a field that serves people in some of their most vulnerable moments. Many of the reviews I've read about divorce attorneys, accountants, and other related service providers sound like nightmares. Jeff Porter is fair, genuinely honest, and wise. If you are looking for a court recognized forensic accountant, I would strongly advise you to include him in your search.
