Wonderful place to go. Most cats and dogs are friendly and you are allowed to pet the animals unless their cages are marked otherwise.

Called to inquire about assistance with dog food. Wasn't wanting to have to give her up. Just had a litter of nine puppies and they are depleting her and couldn't keep up with food cost and we're at the age of weaning. She's a pitbull so I didn't want to send her to the animal shelter bc she would be uthenized and they were made aware of the situation and had no clue as to who I should ask for help with dog food. Suggested my local vet. Very disappointed bc they receive donations year round and had no answer for my question.

I have always liked this place but have been told lately that they actually do kill the animals they way they get around it is by taking them off site. I do not like that idea hopefully it isn't true. They seem very nice at the desk u less you try and talk to the bird then they aren't so pleasant.
