Food and service were AMAZING. We had the best time at Jerry Longo's this weekend! We tried every single appetizer on the menu lol and they were all super tasty. Literally have nothing but praise for this establishment. The meatballs were everything they advertise and I had "Life is Beautiful" martini's which were so good I asked for the recipe before we left . I would recommend Longo's if you want a true Italian experience. The music, the ambiance, the movies on the screens around the restaurant... Everything was on theme. Loved it. Highly recommend.
Jerry Longo’s is an excellent up-scale restaurant at Bally’s. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and I really loved it. The sauce was more sophisticated than your typical marinara sauce and blended in very well with the tender chicken. The service was also quick and our server made great conversation. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant with views great views of the Boardwalk and oldies music playing in the background. The prices are high, but this is Atlantic City and the overall experience was well worth it. This is a great restaurant overall and it has my full recommendation.
This is a local spot - their service is so great each time I have come, everyone is so friendly the martinis are good. I got a espresso martini- so yummy. The eggplant tower is so fresh and delicious. Also check out the pizza— AMAZING
So glad to see a new restaurant open in Bally’s! You had me at Meatballs and Martinis! Definitely check out the martini menu. They have awesome drink selections. The calamari is spicy but we found you can ask for it to be made without the peppers. The meatballs were definitely worth ordering too!
You absolutely must visit Longo's when you're in Atlantic City. The atmosphere is great, especially on the weekends when they have a late-night DJ. The food is phenomenal in my opinion. I've been three times so far and I haven't had a bad meal. The crab spaghetti and carbonara were great. Large portions! Their Manhattan is also dangerously good! Oh.. and the chocolate brule and Italian donuts are also really great! Go see for yourself...
There isn’t much that Jerry Longo’s doesn’t do well… the vibe is immaculate, food is delicious, and service is good. Drinks are strong yet delicious. A nice balance. The red sauce they use is absolutely to die for. Chicken Parm was perfectly cooked and a nice portion. Cannolis were fresh and the perfect end to the meal.
This feels like a sports bar combined with a chain Italian restaurant. There’s TVs and blackjack tables inside. Service was very, very slow. We had to ask for waters and were rarely checked up on. I’m unsure if our server had little knowledge of the drink menu or if the cocktails were just that awful. Our server told us the 9 streeter wasn’t that sweet. When I got it, it tasted like lemonade with 5 cups of sugar added. We also had the ameretto sour which again, was sickly sweet. Food was average/below average. The penne vodka was decent although way too much cream. The meatball on the meatball salad was amazing and the best thing we ate. I recommend just getting the meatball side, as it was not worth it to get the salad part which was very under dressed. Cavatelli bolognese tasted like pasta with hamburger helper. The antipasto plate was good, but the meats and cheeses tasted on the cheaper side. Overall, I was disappointed and would not recommend or return.
Food is excellent, service is good. Really enjoyed the Chicken Parm the first trip and the Gnocchi Sorrentina on the 2nd trip. Only issue is that they play the music so loud on Friday and Saturday nights, you can't have a normal conversation while dining. Dined there on two Saturday nights...May 29th and June 19th. No difference in volume after letting the server and the manager know of our displeasure on the first trip. Knowing they have had plenty of feedback since then, We figured they would have corrected the issue but no. Obviously, they want to set a "club feeling" to the place which would make sense after 10pm when they have dancing. Makes no sense during dining hours prior to 10pm.
Each meal was timely, well plated and delicious! Their chicken francese was one of the best I've ever had and my fiance ate every bite of his lingine alle vongole. Definitely going back!
My food was amazing, waiter was super nice!
