I had the 13 today. I believe I have most of the sandwiches each is better than the last. Try mikes way.Food: 5/5
Oh man. I’ve never posted a review before and I really feel bad rating this place so low, but they broke a glass oil bottle today while putting it back after making my sandwich mikes way, and the way it was handled was honestly shocking. First and foremost I had no idea the vinegar and oil bottles were glass, probably because I never cared to look. But why do you have workers using those bottles with latex gloves and those products? Oil, latex, and glass over food, what a wonderful idea. And of course it shattered today. My sandwich was on the tray being assembled, still open, when the bottle slipped and exploded between the window and vegetables. It went into all of the vegetables and bacon and she quickly put mayo on my sandwich and closed it, that was mistake #1. Additionally, instead of anyone coming and helping this poor girl a red head on grill came, took tomatoes and lettuce from the food that was exposed to shattered glass and put it on sandwich meat that was being cooked, mistake #2. The color in this girl who broke the glasses face was drained, and I get it I’m 19 and this kind of stuff has happened to me, but not knowing how to clean up shattered glass in a food establishment is absolutely unacceptable. Glass was being picked up with hands, and it wasn’t until I said something that she took out all of the vegetable and bacon trays. They were going to leave some of them there overlooked, and I know that because they didn’t dump out the tomatoes or lettuce. They put them back, mistake #3. I was trying to stay calm, and I did, I payed for my sandwich you exposed to shattered glass without throwing a fit, and didn’t have a cow over the fact that you put stuff with glass back. I payed and left. I really encourage you to look at the tapes and see what happened so you can train your staff in teamwork and how to work through these situations because it was obvious this person was embarrassed, confused and left hanging. And in case it isn’t common knowledge, throw the sandwich away, get a rag and pick up the glass, take out ALL the vegetables whether you think there is glass or not and dump it, clean the area and start over. I’ve worked in food service too and this is how we were trained. Luckily I looked through my sandwich and it I think it’s fine, but what would have happened if I actually swallowed glass? I’ve posted a pic of the broken bottle after they moved the major parts below.
Clean place outdoor dining area and indoor friendly staff and they practice Covid-19 safe distance and they have masks in case you forget yours in the car. I ordered a Regular Ham and Swiss “Mikes Way “ with honey mustard Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
If I could of gave less than 1 star I would but that wasn't an option, I have never been so disappointed in a food shop like today. We ordered a kids meal, the giant big kahuna, and a big kahuna in a tub. We spent almost $40 dollars to be disappointed the sandwiches were just mediocre at best. What was the biggest disappointment was the sub in a tub which cost a hefty $ 10 and was just a joke it was literally 4 bites of food what joke. I will never return to this location and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Pictures don't even do it justice.
Good customer service. They didn’t give me the typical fake welcome when I walked in just silence which was interesting lol. Quick service and I got out the door in a timely manner.
This Jersey Mike's is consistently low quality sandwiches. Meats usually taste off and breads are slightly stale. Not the usual Jersey Mike's experience. It's just not up to par with other Jesery Mike's. If your in Upland go to the Jersey Mike's near Whole foods, that one is consistently good.Food: 1/5
My wife and I purchased two sandwiches. The number 9, club supreme as bacon. My wife asked if they could warm the bacon. The worker said it is warm on the "warming" plate. The bacon was actually cold.. the worker just did not want to warm the bacon. Also the wheat bread was dry on both sandwiches. Not going back.
We ordered 3#9, 1#8, and1#14 and they were the worst sandwiches we have ever, what happened to o your store . We are loyal customers and I hate. Complaining, but there was only one slice of meat, the tomato was terrible, just a plain bad sandwich.. we will never.go there again,
Been eating with this company for years! Never ever had I had an issue before and tonight my hot sandwich wasn’t properly cooked. I asked if I could get another one and the taller black female with the weave gave me attitude. They weren’t that busy and my sandwich shouldn’t have been prepared the way it was. It was sloppy and the cheese was all on the top of the sandwich. I never thought I’d say this about this place but that was disgusting. I lost my appetite over a half cooked sandwich.
The second order in a row that was not completed as ordered. Items missing off of the sandwiches pickles, Mayo, etc Also noted that the sandwiches are getting smaller with less meat and cheese, and starting to look more like a Subway sandwich, and I hate Subway. I have only ordered from this location but will consider changing locations for my next order.
