In October 2009, ABC designated Certified Green Contractor status to JFK Electrical Contracting. JFK is the first company in Arizona and the first electrical contractor in the nation to achieve this prestigious designation.
Environmentally friendly and energy-saving building is what "LEED" is all about. Referred to as "green buildings" or "sustainable design," these high-performance buildings are changing the way buildings are designed, built and maintained.
In 2007, JFK Electrical Contracting Enterprises, Inc., completed the electrical construction for the Northern Arizona University Advanced Research Development building, the first building in Arizona to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certification.
