Has typically been good in the past. Seemed that we were not totally welcome tonight. Hunan chicken very good-- chicken was cooked really well and vegetables were very good quality and freshnessfresh sautee mushrooms were excellent. Other dish lacked flavor. Will be back though as it is overall still a good restaurant and most of dishes I have had over the years have been really good.
The Sesame Chicken was awful. Ordered for takeout and the staff up front were nice, but when I got home, I couldn't eat the food. The soup was good, but not the main course. Informed Jiang's about the bad tasting food, but all they said was they appreciate the feedback and will look into it. So much for damage control. Last time I eat there. Sad, because they're supposed to be good. Maybe it was an off night for the food and/or cook, but Jiang's didn't even try and make it right.
I went there for dinner and I was very pleased with the food, great seasoning and fresh veggies. The service staff was good.Food: 4/5
Ordered all our favorites tonight for take-out. Cashew Shrimp, Beef Chow Fun, Chicken w/Asparagus from the special Asparagus menu recommend with white sauce as opposed to brown sauce, and Stir Fried Green Beans. My family’s been coming to Jiang’s for 18-19 years, and of all the Chinese restaurants in Richmond, it’s still the best.Food: 5/5
The best Chinese restaurant in Richmond, if not all of VA. Food is always flavorful, never too greasy or dry. Not too salty, so good you don’t even need soy sauce. I come here at least twice a week.
Food was awesome and service was on point. Best dining experience in awhile. Happy meal was very tasty with shrimp, scallops, chicken, and beef.Food: 5/5
Do NOT order from them. Bad customer service. Our food was burned and they tried to say, that's how it's made. Plus it did not smell fresh at all. Then wanted to argue about it. Food we had to throw away. Not worth it. Go elsewhere.
Great cozy Chinese restaurant. We got the Lo Mein with Chicken and the Pan Fried Noodles with chicken. Both were good! Pan Fried noodles were a little too greasy but still had a really good flavor. Blue Moon and Yuengling on draft for $2.99. Great atmosphere and polite service. Took about 10 mins the bring my check back after taking my credit card, but lady said sorry and that it was because they were busy.
Avoid when busy. Xmas Eve and people where waiting over 2 hours for takeout. I left after an hour and ten minutes with no food. People in the restaurant were leaving after they had been seated over an hour and they lost their order. The ladies at the counter were still taking orders and telling people 20-30 minutes. It was like the bands on the Titanic still playing music while the ship is sinking. They could find my order to take my money but they could not find it when I asked for a refund. I missed over an hour with my family on Xmas Eve and they will miss my business in the future. Place was packed and food has been good in the past, but terribly mismanaged tonight.
Came in from out of town and decided to give this place a try. We are glad we did! Best Chinese food we have had in a long time. The hot and sour soup was delicious. The main dishes were spot on good. The service was fast and friendly.
