I come here constantly, I am typically pleased with food. Sammie, the cashier, is amazing, understanding and sympathetic. She cannot be replaced. However, today I unwrapped this monstrosity. Condiments are so overwhelming and the cheese has been shifted to one side of the burger. I ate in, I did not travel so therefore I ask, how did the cheese slide from counter to table? I got 2-3 bites out of it and was basically covered in all the sauces from the burger. Sammie refunded me and expressed that this was unacceptable. The manager came out when were leaving and asked if I wanted a replacement. We. Were. Leaving. I said perhaps your employees should care a bit more about the quality of the work they produce and not wrap up the food for an additional quality inspection before serving the customer.
Come on! This is a 5 star find! I love a good sub! I stumbled on this place from hear say from the locals! Talk about the cleanest, safe and the best tuna melt I ever had! Brought it home and made tuna boats out of it! It was so abundant that, dare I say, too much fillings? Ahhhh. The menu is huge. Don't miss this one diner/pizza shop/sub shop lovers!!!
Jillie's roast beef has been a staple at this location for many years. They are now a part of the Santoro's family of restaurants and the menu is greatly expanded here at Julie's there's something for everyone. If you have not been in a while come back in and check it out.
They make the best Roast Beef subs. The same one they have been making for years. The prices have gone up a little bit. But they still give you a sub packed with real sliced roast beef.
Jillies used to be my favorite place to order from in Belvedere. Suddenly, costs have gone thru the roof but most important, food portion has decreased significantly. I ordered a Steak, Cheese, Mushroom sub, something I have ordered multiple times, and been extremely pleased every time. Tonight, I picked up the sub and it was very light. When I opened it up, there was half the amount I have always got in my subs. I pay half this price for a steak and cheese at Market Basket and get much better subs. This was disappointing to say the least and the combo I used to order went fromn$12.49 to $14.99 overnight, a rapid jump in prices. Needless to say, sub shops and pizza places are pricing themselves out and portions are getting skimpier. I will be done ordering out if this is what I am now getting for the price increases.
Love the food and service. This is my kids Favorite pizza joint!!! They ask for this everytime and have tried all sorts of items on the menu they've never had and loved them! Edit as of July 2022... still awesome, still open, still JUST AS DELICIOUS!!
They roast beef sandwiches are good, the pizza is surprisingly really good. For the price, this pizza is really hard to beat. The staff is friendly and quick.
The service was outstanding. The woman who served us was the sweetest ever. I live out of town, but when I visit I alway stop here. Never a bad experience. Subs are great too.
Food was good, prices were great, bountiful parking. Will return again if I'm in the neighborhood.
The roast beef is really good, the fries are horrible and over cooked! The customer service is horrible also! Stand there with noone infront of you and continue to wait for them to take your order as they are chit chatting with each other. My order came out and my sandwich was wrong so when I went back to the counter they said that’s what you ordered with a attitude! I would have walked out but i already paid for my food.
