My mother dropped off her vehicle at Jims to get a supposed thermostat housing fixed then I was to get my mothers old car. Being a single mother of 3; I fell on hard times and really needed this vehicle. Jim's charged $600 and upon paying and trying to pick up the vehicle they then state that when refilling the system, from the work they did to the vehicle, the water pump blew so we now needed to pay ANOTHER $600 to have them fix the water pump they blew! We simply could not afford another $600 mechanic bill!! So we barely got the vehicle 5 miles down the road to my house and there it has sat ever since! THANKS FOR NOTHING JIM'S AUTO!😡👎🏻

Jim and his son are a great asset to the Dalton community. They are genuinely nice people both personally and professionally. When they give you an assessment of your vehicle it's accurate, fair and honest. Best mechanic in Ohio.

We recently moved to North Carolina, but I lived in Ohio with my wife and kids for 4-5 years and took all of our vehicles to Jim's for oil changes, new tires, new brakes and engine work. Always fair prices... but what we liked the most was that he is only interested in what is best for the safety of the owner and the longevity of the cars life. You don't see that often and we've yet to find a good mechanic down here in NC. Jim, come save us!
