Many insurance agents are unfortunately held captive to a single insurance carrier. However, I’m an independent agent representing several nationally (and regionally) branded carriers. This allows me to provide numerous OPTIONS for all my clients with every quote I run. This is because instead of receiving a “take-it-or-leave-it” rate from a single carrier, I get an array of rates from numerous carriers who are all bidding to win my clients' business. This allows my agency to establish a long-term relationship with my clients that'll last decades, not just a year or two. No single carrier relationship will ever be more important to me than ethically representing the needs of my clients.
