I love Jimmie's dairy bar and have been going for 25 plus years. Yesterday I pulled in ordered a coney dog and vanilla coke. As I finished ordering I pulled up to window and waited and waited. Meanwhile the man behind me ordered a cone they made it sat it on counter . I watched it melt and the man behind me after waiting for 11 min left I watched him go to dairy queen order ice cream and leave all before I ever got my order which was a coney dog and coke come on man. Meanwhile dudes cones still on the counter melting. Finally 16 min later I finally got my food.

Wouldn't recommend. The girl didn't listen to what I DIDN'T want on my tenderloin. Then after I scraped off the onions I noticed that the tomato still had the sticker on it. Made me wonder if they even washed their vegetables before putting them on the sandwiches.

Great Ice cream but prices are WAY too high.
Went there again on July 3rd and wasn't impresses at all. The staff is rude and NOT friendly at all. I understand being put off by having to work, but to take in out on customers and even kids. Very sad. This place was great back in the day. But I guess like they say... all good things have to come to an end.

I've been going to Jimmie's my whole life. In the past few years, the place has certainly gone downhill. I still go there a few times a year for ice cream, but the food is... not good. I don't know that it's ever been "amazing," but it's pretty hard to stomach anymore. Everything appears to be frozen, not fresh. I feel like a lot of it is microwave-heated. The fries are always stale. Even the ice cream crunch coat is usually stale and tastes like the entirety of the contents of the fridge. The staff seems to hate it, as they roll their eyes at each other, bicker, and fail to keep the eating area, kitchen, or restrooms clean. 

To the owners of Jimmie's, please, don't let it meet the same fate that many older restaurants have met. Keep your standards up. Partner with local farms and companies to get local, fresh food. Hold your employees accountable (especially the ones that have been there a while).

Jimmie's has something that Dairy Queen, Wendy's, and Taco Bell don't have- history. The only way for you to go is UP.

Prices are way too high for the amount of food you get and you have to pay extra to get lettuce and tomatoes on your sandwich. However, the staff was nice and the food did taste good especially the ice cream. I'll probably only go back for the ice cream because there are a lot of options for it that you don't see anywhere else.
