I read some of the unfavorable posts and can't imagine what caterer they were referring to. I've done 10 parties with Duffy spanning 10 years. They are exceptional in every detail. Their staff are top notch well trained professionals. The food is ( in my opinion) Michelin quality and cooked on site. I highly recommend them for small to large parties. Pol Duffy ( son of the founder) is a delightful person to work with and if it's possible, Pol makes it happen!!!

This review is from an experience we had 3 years ago. We were required to use Jimmy Duffy because they were the exclusive caterer at the Quilt Museum in Lancaster. Our meetings with Pol and the on-site coordinator went well. At the tastings the food was amazing and they worked with us to develop a custom menu. We were so excited. We were told that we did not need a wedding coordinator for the reception, so we hired one for the ceremony only. Just before the wedding they fired their coordinator and we were left without one. The day of the wedding was a disaster. They had a filthy stove that they were using set up outside right at the entrance, inside things weren't set up correctly, they served the champagne instead of saving it for the toast, they didn't give the wedding party the hor'devours like they were supposed to, their staff was already drunk from drinking the alcohol we had purchased for the wedding. they didn't clear the tables during cocktail hour so there were piles of plates on the tables, didn't keep an eye on the food station, which was dirty and had cold food, didn't light the candles, etc. The food itself tasted good but we didn't have all of the dessert options that we had paid for and their staff spent most of their time eating instead of serving our guests. One of their staff members vomitted in the men's restroom and left a huge mess, then several staff members got into a fight at the end of the night in front of our guests. I spent the entire night trying to make sure things were done correctly and was left exhausted and embarrassed. The staff stole the leftover beer. They also packed up all of our reception items and broke some, as well as didn't return all to us. Overall one of the worst experiences you could have for a wedding reception.
