Take your business elsewhere. I am very disappointed in the Joanne Artman Gallery. I visited about 6 months ago and asked to see a couple of pieces by a new artist and the gallery staff pulled two pieces out of a storeroom, laid them on the floor, and then went off to do something else. I figured it was just an off experience, left and planned to return again. Then I went in last week, wanted to see some new pieces, and while I was waiting for Joanne, I overheard her berating one of her artists - to the point the woman was crying! I thought, "My god, this is not the only game in town, I don't want to do business with a gallery that conducts itself like this." I was horrified and completely disgusted. Do what I do - take your business elsewhere.
