Our server was the only good thing about our 1st time here & only reason why there is 2 stars!  The commercials enticed us to celebrate my birthday @ Joe's. The restaurant was busy. The dining area is an open space, very loud, & congested. We were sat out on the enclosed patio. Our first seat, was unbearable. The sun shined brightly on our whole tables faces, making it very uncomfortable for us to enjoy anything. We moved ourselves to another open table, sun still shining directly in the eyes of some of our table. My husband actually ate dinner with his sunglasses on, a first by the way! When we complained, we were told the owner has known for over 20 years & hasn't done any thing. I will never return to Joe's ever again! It does not take much to apply tint to your patio windows or provide a shade. The bathrooms were disgusting, the paper towel holder falling off the wall in pieces, trash thrown all around. In addition to the glaring sun & dirty bathrooms, the patio was also filthy. There were piles of trash under tables & in walk ways. Regardless of how busy you are, you take time to keep a clean dining area for your patrons! Most of the food was mediocre, very limited for kids choices. Our appetizers were tasty & enjoyed. My overall experience was a good time with my family but the dining enjoyment was tainted by the sun, the lack of cleanliness, & the cost of the visit. I do not recommend Joe's Crab shack to somebody looking for a quiet, reasonable priced, dining experience. If you have never been there before, its an experience I am now able to say I have done.

Lovely place to come ND relax and enjoy great Meals, the mussels are great and the portion size is good. The ambience is a Very relaxed one. Lovely goodies to choose for kids and adults alike. The drinks can however be better but over all it's a Great experience.

Great bartender. Was very attentive without being a pest. Lots of drink choices but they seem a little amateur. With regards to the quality of the mean, very little attention to detail. My wifes steampot was with out flavor. Bartender was able to get spices on the side. And well my meal shrimp tacos were cold.

I just think the more popular (sometimes) a restaurant gets the less quality of food you get. The food wasn't bad or good it was just ok.

If i could give zero i would.  We had reservation and wasnt too long to sit, but thats the best part.  Took hour and half for food, which was cold.   Waitress was getting irritated when we tried asking for things.  My friends food was burnt.  Sat next to kids play area- big mistake.  Too loud, chaotic and food i wouldnt go back for!
