I've been goin here since I was a kid. They're always really friendly and their chip beef is the BEST! You don't find places like this anymore and that's what makes this place a true gem to the community. Don't go a changing Joe's!!!

This is a great store. You want deli meats and cheese? They got it. Their bacon (especially sliced thick) is delicious.  You have to go to the back of the store, where the meats are. YUM. Their smoked pork chops are super, and they not only know how to cut the meat, they will share recipes too!  You can also get all kinds of last-minute groceries here too. The service is great. It's a community hub; you meet friendly neighbors as you are waiting to get or pay for your orders. If you haven't already gone, GO!

I love going to Joe's! Better quality meats, family run and they treat their customers great! Great for everyday meats as well as specialty cuts!

This is your old-time, hometown grocery store.
Their meat and deli selection and quality can't be beat.
You'll find everything you need (to eat, anyway)  packed into a community-oriented and family owned store.

Disappointing to say the least.  We had been told this was THE place to go for our Christmas Top Roast.  After looking at the website and seeing the message about ordering early, I called in.  I had never made a beef roast before and talked to one of the butchers.  He said the roasts came in a Full (7 lbs) and Half (3.5ish)  I ordered a Half and also asked that it be tied and trimmed - which I had learned to do by watching cooking shows.  Was told it would all be taken care of.  I called on Wed of Christmas week to ask when I should pick it up.  I was told anytime after Thursday.  Thinking Friday and Sat would be nuts, I went before lunch on Thursday.  After waiting in line, I gave the guy my name and he pulls out one of the smallest roasts I have ever seen.  I said "is this a half"?  He said it was 2 lbs.  I then told him that I had ordered a half and was cooking for 5 people, there was no way that would be enough.  He went into the cooler and pulled out a 3 lb and then a 4 lb.  I told him I'd take the 4.  The original order wasn't prepped or tied and this one wouldn't be either.  We spent 1/2 hour trimming the roast tonight.  And after going to a kitchen store to buy the twine to tie it ourselves.  This was so disappointing of an experience.  It didn't seem like any attention was paid to my original conversation.
