The charming name of this Rockaway pizzeria makes the pizza worth it. My curiously cobbled-together veggie slice was fine fresh, with the traditional pizza-blend of cheeses, but Elegante down the street is better.
Good pizza, good prices, nice service, friendly people. Small place but enough room to sit and enjoy if you like. I usually just take it home, but the folks are super nice if you want to hang for a bit. Recommended! Come often.
The WORST chicken parm I have ever had, burnt, dry, no sauce, cheese wasn’t even melted and it took long time to make three like this, WHAT WASTE OF MONEY !!!!!
Ordered a Pie and Chicken Rolls. First off ill be as frank and to the point. The sauce tasted like water. Zero flavors the dough was too yeasty and chalky. The chicken used was fake and the cheese was poor quality and possibly fake. I was extremely disappointed on wasting my time and money on buying pizza from here. Id be honest dude should be cooking something else other the pizza. Horrible sauce, not flavor maybe he should try making tacos or burgers. Not pizza. Not everyone is made to make £Pizza. Everyone sees profit over tradition and loose the respect of the wonderful art of Pizza making. Its a Art . not a get rich scheme. Note to owener. Your pizza is not worth the 1$ pizza category. I would look up something called SALT and invest and last thing Summer is here. Only way to profit from your pizza is making it 1$ pizza.
Horrible, horrible experience ever! 1. The counter staff, except for one, were very unfriendly. Most of the time I could not understand if they were talking to me or among themselves. 2. The mushroom in my mushroom pizza was very funky tasting. I am not a very picky eater so i ate it anyways. 3. THIS IS THE ACTUAL PROBLEM. I ordered a side sphagetti with Marinara sauce menu price is $5. Even though I could sense a little hesitation, they agreed to make some, and asked me if a dinner size would be ok? I didnt see that on the menu, so, since he suggested i said ok. They charged me $13 for a plate of spaghetti with splash of marinara. When I asked them why was that so expensive, they told me that was what I ordered and they could not refund me after being charge They charged my card without letting me the price know. The person who calls me himself the owner took his stand on making this all my fault, and very disrespectfully denied me a refund, or discount. So if you are going to out to eat, this is not a place where you assume mutual understanding. So unlike New York!
OMG! This is the best pizzeria in Rockaway Beach!! Family owned and such a friendly staff! & The taco stand.... oh my goodness... so delicious I get chicken & shrimp mixed quesadilla every time!! I won’t ever stop coming here! I definitely recommend! Thank you so much Joe
The WORST PIZZA SHOP EVER!.... I placed an Uber eats order at 9:00pm i didn’t get my food till 11:30Pm. I ordered for hungry children the pizza the lady who answered the phone was very rude. I called an hour after i placed my order when the Uber eats order said it will be really she didn’t even apologize. Then when we received the order it wasn’t even correct... i ordered 5 slices he only gave me two i ordered cheese fries he only gave me regular fries ..when i called back the guy was very rude and said well we didn’t have anymore pies so that’s all you got and then he hung up...Very rude i wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
The last time I came the pizza slice was so good. The price is fair and the staff is so great!
First of all i ordered a buffalo chicken slice they gave me chicken cutlet slice and even argued it was a buffalo chicken slice smh very inexperienced and very bad customer service id give less than 1 star but you cant all in all id never recommend this place in all honesty i dont know how they managed to stay open this long
Great pizza but lasagna was too sweet. Kid-friendliness: It's a nice family setting.
