During one of the worst times in my life I needed some legal help. I called Joey Gilbert Law and got an appointment that week to meet with no obligation of paying, just to talk about my options legally. Once I decided to have Joey Gilbert Law represent me I was not in the dark, They communicated with me the whole time and answered any lingering questions and there was plenty especially for someone new to the legal system. I would recommend Joey Gilbert Law to anyone. Just make sure you do their recommendations they ask of you prior to court this  will make your court date go by way smoother and if there is ANYthing wrong with your case Joey Gilbert Law team will find it and ensure you get the best outcome. Shoutout to Carlos, Adriana, and Joey himself.

Communication was poor throughout the process of my case, but the job got done. Then, after my court date, I got an email with a "closing letter", essentially letting me know they were done, even though my case is not closed. Okay, fine, but I have questions still and feel uncertain about how to handle them. I've reached out and was told someone would contact me but this has not happened - it's the same thing that happened throughout my case.  I am far from being a needy client. But each of the very few times I've reached out for help, I've hit a brick wall. I'm extremely stressed out because I don't know how to proceed, and they are apparently unwilling to help. Completely ridiculous.  Edited to reduce my two-star rating to a one-star rating because this office is ridiculous. I probably sound like a crazy person, but I'm really not. The lack of communication really is  that bad.

The absolute worst experience of my life jgl stole 8500 dollars from my father whom is a well respected senior citizen , tricked him into signing a nonrefundable clause knowing he is hard of hearing and seeing having no experience with criminal defense . I retained joey gilbert himself then was passed off to Roger O'Donnell whom missed court dated skipped zoom meetings after 2 months of zero communication and not a SINGLE answer to our questions they got tired of MY "attitude" dropped my case and kept my money with absolutely ZERO services rendered I highly recommend you do not contact these crooks they attempted to get me to sign a nda after robbing my family sad that the ones we trust to help would steal from good people In a desperate time of need for help

Had a good experience with Margaret and Joey Gilbert. I feel like Mr. Cole was good also but was quick to give in and not push back for me.

I retained Joey Gilbert Law as my defense attorney on Jan 21st, 2022. I provided a $6,500.00 retainer, via cashiers check on 01-21-22. The services to be provided were in relation to the two pending misdemeanor charges. I was told directly by Carlos that my case was a "slam dunk" and due to the circumstances of the TPO Violation he expected a full dismissal on both charges. No documentation was ever requested from me. My last words with Carlos ended with, should the firm need anything regarding the case himself or Joey would let me know. I called the office on 03-21-22, as I had a court appearance scheduled for 03-23-22 and was concerned nobody had reached out yet. After speaking to Reilly Kimbrel, a legal assistant, it was brought to my attention for the first time that my attorney was in fact Mr. Roger O'Donnell, whom I had not met, nor retained. His name was not even mentioned on the retainer. Reilly then states Mr. O'Donnell had asked him to inform me that I needed to appear in person the following day and they were still working on a deal with the DA. It was abundantly clear my case was either missed or completely neglected. Mr O'Donnell did not call me back until after 4 p.m the day before court, as he was clearly scrambling to provide me with any updates. Having just received the discovery for my case that same day, I was in total disbelief that not one licensed attorney had called me to discuss. Ied on a case, after having had nearly three months to address the case with their client. I did not receive one call or even an email from my attorney until one hour before the office closed, the day before first appearance.
