Went to sit down and eat and it took quite a while to get our pizza. Saw tons of take out orders get picked up and another group who came in after us get their food before us. Once we got our food it was quite good, just didn't expect to wait an hour to get it. Either forgot about us or prioritize phone orders.Food: 4/5

Excellent pie.  I know it’s probably sacrilegious to say, but it’s a very good NY style pie.  I only tried the NY style aka New Haven style but they also have a grandma and a Detroit.  The NY was very good - nice crisp, cracked but held, great sauce and high quality cheese.  The only reason I have it a 4 was because the middle was soft/floppy wasn’t stretched with the right consistency. Overall a great pie!

Tried their calzones a year ago and it was really good. Stopped by late at night once to pick up pizza and a warmhearted African lady behind the counter offered us free pizza slices as it was almost closing time. She could be the Manager. We had this experience almost 2 years ago but I wanted to post it here so that she or anyone from the restaurant finds this review and thank her again on behalf of us for such a sweet gesture! We love their pizzas and calzones!

I went for a large pepperoni pie, and although it was a bit greasy/salty, that’s to be expected - it was still delicious. The store is clean, staff are welcoming, and I love that the head pizza maker is a black woman! I have yet to try anything else on the menu, but will soon. I do wish they had more single slice options but overall this place has great New Haven style pizza!

Delicious food and reasonable prices. Good portions. Take-out only or take-out containers, and then you can sit at the limited inside seating. Bottled wine, beer, and soft drinks are available for purchase.Food: 5/5

Stopped in to enjoy a pizza with my son.  He had a pepperoni pizza and I had the Buffalo chicken calzone. The calzone didn't come with a side of sauce.  Like a lot of pizza places these days they aren't quite set up for dining in. They do have a couple booths and will basically bring a takeout order to your table.  Overall the food and pizza are good and enjoyed ourselves.  The portions were good  and the prices are reasonable.  There is plenty of parking out from, though it is all marked for them to bring your order to your car.

Checks all the boxes...atsa a nice-a pizza pie!  And bonus - they had some of their 'Detroit' style in the front rack.  So we got a slice - thick crust, pepperoni and sweet tomatoe sauce.  Just delicious!Food: 5/5

The kitchen sink pizza was so good but I finally found the best Philly cheesteak grinder out of any restaurant I've been to it's well seasoned and the bread they use is so good you can tell it's homemade the melted cheese and the butter gives it so much flavor definitely 10 out of 10 Food: 5/5

I ordered food for an Engagement Party from Joey's in West Hartford and worked with MaryAnn.  She was fantastic to work with in helping with what to order and answering all my questions. The food was delivered on time and MaryAnn also sent napkins, grated cheese and hot pepper flakes as well as extra pizza boxes and aluminum dishes. The food was delicious and my guests loved everything especially the grandma red and white pies!!!  Thank you MaryAnn and Joey's for all your help, thoughtfulness, such delicious and wonderful food!!!!  5 stars for sure!!!

This place makes an amazing Detroit style pizza if you haven't tried it you're missing out.  Their gluten free pizza is delicious, too!  Very friendly staff.Food: 5/5
